Railway CU Honored for Outstanding Community Support & Volunteerism

MANDAN, ND - Railway Credit Union was recently recognized as the 2018 Business of the Year by the Mandan Progress Organization (MPO) during the organization’s annual meeting that was held on January 17th at the Baymont Inn in Mandan. Railway CU was selected as the recipient of this prestigious award because of their outstanding community support and proven dedication through sponsoring and volunteering in numerous community events.
Once nominated, candidates are screened and selected by the MPO’s volunteer board and staff based on their level of support, charitable mentality, and volunteerism to assist the MPO in special events for the Mandan community. Some of the events that Railway CU supported in 2018 included Buggies-n- Blues, Mandan Rodeo Days, OktoberFest, and the WildWest Grill Fest, just to name a few.
Railway CU President Paul J. Brucker is pleased with the difference his credit union and staff is making in the Mandan community. “It is an honor to be recognized for the many things our organization, staff, and volunteers do to help make our community a better place for everyone,” he stated. “To accomplish this level of success, it is a total team effort from our board of directors, volunteers, and the entire staff contributing to further our cause of making a positive difference. We are grateful to be part of a community that works together to improve the opportunities for all residents of Mandan, North Dakota.”
