Rivermark Community CU Offering 0% Loans for Federal Employees Impacted by Shutdown

BEAVERTON, OR – With the government shutdown surpassing 30 days, Rivermark Community Credit Union has extended its support to include 0% personal loan options to impacted federal employees and contractors. Rivermark is committed to helping make this difficult time easier for those adversely affected by the shutdown by offering specific assistance.

For the past month, Rivermark has been working with members by offering loan deferment options with no fees. The addition of a 0% APR personal loan option is to provide additional peace of mind and flexibility to cover bills and mortgage payments. Details include:

• Loan amounts for up to $5,000
• Rivermark will not obtain a credit report or report the loan to credit reporting agencies
• Member can defer their first monthly payment for up to 90-days at no cost
• Loan amount is based on the member’s direct deposit of pay for the month
• New members are also eligible
