Hanscom FCU Charitable Foundation Receives $1,500 Donation
Hanscom AFB, MA (January 18, 2019) – The Enterprise Holdings Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Enterprise Holdings, has made a $1,500 donation to the Hanscom FCU Charitable Foundation to support the ongoing work it does on behalf of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless. The check was presented by Enterprise Car Sales employees during a luncheon at the credit union’s operations center in Littleton, MA.
“The credit union has a long-standing partnership with Enterprise Car Sales,” said Paul Marotta, Hanscom FCU’s Chairman of the Board and the Foundation’s Secretary. “I’m touched by the Enterprise Holdings Foundation’s donation to further help residents who are in need of warm hats and blankets this winter through our relationship with the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.”
Marotta added, “The ethos of ‘People Helping People’ is something we take to heart around here, and we’re grateful to partner with an organization that does, too.”
For the ninth consecutive year, Hanscom FCU and the Hanscom FCU Charitable Foundation will be donating blankets and hats, many of which were hand-knitted by credit union employees, to the Coalition to support the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s (CCUA) annual blanket drive at the end of January 2019. This donation will significantly increase the impact the credit union and the foundation has on those in need.
