United Credit Union Raises $651 for Local Youth Programs
January 12, 2019
Ness City, KS - On January 12, 2019 United Credit Union held their first pitch tournament in Ness City, Kansas. Despite the weather, there was a fantastic turnout with 35 players and a few spectators. Everyone played 10 point, call for your partner pitch. The United Credit Union held this tournament to earn monies for their youth programs. The youth programs consist of a summer money camp for 5 to 9 year old children. Once enough money is saved we want to establish a post-secondary scholarship. This first tournament raised $651.00.
Being an active part of community is something that makes United Credit Union special, and without participation our events wouldn’t be so successful. Everyone that participated enjoyed the evening, so much so, that another tournament is planned for February 9, 2019!
