Greater Texas CU is Top Workplace for Employees
December 27, 2018
Austin, TX – Greater Texas Credit Union has once again been voted Top Workplace by credit union employees, marking this the 7th year in a row to receive such special designation.
After surveys of more than 24,000 workers at 151 area employers earlier this year, the American-Statesman narrowed the field to the 100 companies worthy of being honored as part of the 2018 Top Workplaces of Greater Austin project. Rather than interviewing executives, the Statesman goes right to the source for the best judgment on workplace culture and environment by interviewing employees directly. The employee feedback survey’s administered by Energage, LLC, measured several aspects of workplace culture, including organizational health, alignment, execution, connection, and employee engagement.
Greater Texas Credit Union has made it a priority over the years to add value to employee’s work-life beyond the traditional aspect of compensation, including the GREATER GOOD Volunteering Program, which allows employees to use dedicated volunteer hours given each year during the work-day. Greater Texas Credit Union has 19 locations across the state of Texas with more than 180 employees, and has been serving Texans since 1952.
