Tampa, FL Grow Financial�Federal Credit Union recently participated in The Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions 9th Annual Credit Union Cruise for Kids Motorcycle Poker Run to benefit local childrens charities.� The event was held on�Sunday, May 19,� with breakfast at Uncle Mikes Smokehouse Grill� and�concluded at the Quaker Steak and Lube motorsports themed restaurant in Pinellas Park.
Stops along the way included Harley Davidson of Brandon, Harley Davidson of Tampa and Jims Harley-Davidson.� At the Quaker Steak and Lube, participants enjoyed a post-race party featuring live music by Stormbringer, prizes, a live auction, and more!
Since its inaugural run in 2004, The Credit Union Cruise for Kids has raised over $350,000 for local children's charities. This years fundraising goal�was $70,000,�with proceeds will benefiting All Childrens Hospital, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay and Hernando, Voices For Children, Clothes To Kids, Oasis, The Make a Wish Foundation, The Childrens Home of Tampa, For Every Child Hope Totes, and Metropolitan Ministries.
