P1FCU Employees Support "Holiday Heroes" Food Drive

Lewiston, ID - P1FCU employees love giving back to local community members all year round but it is especially meaningful during the holidays. Each year, the Idaho Food Bank hosts a food drive called “Holiday Heroes” which includes three different volunteer opportunities on separate days.First volunteers pack bags of food donated by the local grocery store, which include the makings of a holiday dinner. On the second day the bags are sold at the store for $20 to be donated back to families in need. The final day is the food distribution day and over 320 households and 1,135 individuals were provided food for the holidays. P1FCU volunteers were able to participate in each of the events and definitely felt like holiday heroes!
