P1FCU Season of Giving Helps Families in Need

P1FCU is partnering with community members to help local families in need receive a complete turkey dinner this Christmas during the Annual P1FCU Season of Giving campaign. Each year P1FCU has started the campaign with the Season of Giving Kick-Off Block Party where a full lunch is served to members at every branch the first week in November. Throughout November and December, members are encouraged to donate food, a gently used or new coats, and unwrapped toys and items are distributed to local organizations and food banks.

This year P1FCU decided to change things a little and spread even more joy by encouraging community members to nominate someone in need to receive a turkey dinner.  P1FCU will purchase up to 100 turkeys, plus all the fixings, and deliver to families the week before Christmas. Nominations are accepted until December 14th by going to http://www.p1fcu.org/season.

P1FCU is proud to provide aid to the communities we serve, and couldn’t do it without the help of generous community members. Giving a little can help a lot.
