Christian Community Credit Union’s employees held a food and clothing drive during the month of November to benefit Shepherd’s Pantry in Glendora, CA. The Credit Union’s Social Committee organized the 3rd annual drive as part of the staff Thanksgiving celebration. In addition to the food and clothing, the Credit Union made a $500 donation to Shepherd’s Pantry.

“It’s an honor to help out Shepherd’s Pantry, and I was especially pleased that the Credit Union offered a monetary donation as well,” said IT Supervisor Chris Allen, who coordinated the drive. “In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we are blessed to be able to help out those less fortunate than us.”

“We are very thankful to the Credit Union staff and management for this generous donation,” said Craig Cerro, Shepherd’s Pantry Executive Director. “Every donation helps us to serve more families in need, especially at Christmas.”

Shepherd’s Pantry is a non-profit organization that provides emergency food, clothing, resource assistance and educational programs to families in need during times of crisis.
