Georgia United CU Wish Tree Program Supports Local Foster Children
November 20, 2018
We are Georgia United Credit Union. It is our proud honor to make an impact in the lives of our members, team members and the communities we serve. Every day and in every way. Together, we are stronger and YOUnited.
DULUTH, GA (November 19, 2018) – Georgia United Credit Union is holding its 28th Annual Wish Tree program, now through December 12, to collect new toys and articles of clothing for foster children in local communities. Stop by any of Georgia United’s 19-branch locations and pick up a wish for a child. Donated items should be dropped off at a branch by December 12, to ensure deliveries are made to local Division of Family and Children Services offices and other charitable organizations, in time for the holidays.
“It’s our privilege to organize and participate in the Annual Wish Tree program,” stated Aaron Chestnut, chief marketing officer at Georgia United. “Since the program’s inception, Georgia United has provided over 21,000 gifts to children in our community through the generosity and kindness of our donors. We look forward to continuing this tradition to help brighten a child’s holiday.”
