(Riverside, Calif.) Nov. 5, 2018 – Decked out in pink T-shirts, 38 Altura Credit Union employees and their family members recently participated in the 2018 Annual Pink on Parade Breast Cancer Awareness Walk to raise funds for The Pink Ribbon Place, a program of the nonprofit Riverside Community Health Foundation. Altura also was an event sponsor for the second consecutive year.

The Pink Ribbon Place is Riverside’s first breast cancer resource center. It provides support, products and resources to women and men undergoing breast cancer treatment, and their loved ones.  All the funds raised through Pink on Parade remain local.

The event featured both a 1.8K family fun walk at Riverside’s Ryan Bonaminio Park and a 5K up adjacent Mt. Rubidoux. An expo at the kickoff featured booths, crafts for kids and a dunk tank with local “celebrities.”
