Westerly Community CU Recognized for Social Responsibility Efforts

Westerly Community Credit Union was recently presented the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) Excellence in Social Responsibility award. This award was received at the October 11th Awards ceremony at the CCUA Annual Meeting and Convention in CT.
The Excellence in Social Responsibility recognizes a credit union, who not only is involved with CCUA League social responsibility initiatives, but has an overall commitment to the community through its individual support of local causes and charities. One credit union was chosen from each state represented in the CCUA and WCCU won for the State of Rhode Island.
Westerly Community Credit Union was also recognized with a plaque commemorating their 70th Anniversary milestone at the CCUA Annual Meeting on October 12th.
