Dakota Plains Credit Union in Edgeley, North Dakota supported their local high school’s “Dig Pink” fundraiser on Monday, October 22nd. Employees were invited to wear anything pink and jeans that day for a donation. The credit union staff raised $60 for the event. October is known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but all types of cancer affect our small communities and Dakota Plains Credit Union is happy to help support fundraising efforts. The EKM Rebel volleyball team also raised money with a raffle, bake sale and merchandise at their last home game. The proceeds are going to local families.

Dig Pink is a nationwide movement to provide meaningful and impactful experiences for athletes while inspiring and empowering them to come together in support of the stage IV breast cancer community. Each year, hundreds of teams across the country (and some overseas) participate in Dig Pink.
