First Community Heads to the Farm with 950 Youth Members

St. Louis, MO October 22, 2018 St. Louis, MO: On a sunny, October Saturday, First Community’s youth members came out in full force to enjoy an afternoon at Eckert’s Farm. With a record turnout of 950 kids and their families, the credit union was excited to see so many faces at their newest youth event.
Eckert’s offered several fun, fall activities such as a pumpkin cannon, petting farm, corn maze, and many other fun experiences.
“This is the largest turnout we’ve had for a youth event at First Community. We are excited to be able to offer these types of events to our members and their families”, said First Community Event Coordinator, Nicci Yount.
First Community’s youth members are an important part of the organization and educating them on saving and spending smart is a priority. Some of the great perks of the youth account include exclusive event invites throughout the year, as well as receiving $1 for every A they receive on their report card, and welcome gift when they open their account.
