October 22, 2018
We share a passion for our members and community: that’s our common thread.
LOWELL, MA – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is proud to receive the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s (CCUA) Excellence in Financial Education Award.
The award recognizes credit unions in Massachusetts, Delaware, New Hampshire and Rhode Island that demonstrate their commitment to helping members and the greater community achieve financial success through education. Jeanne D’Arc received the award for the state of Massachusetts, alongside Service Credit Union (New Hampshire), Pawtucket Credit Union (Rhode Island) and Louviers Federal Credit Union (Delaware).
“We are incredibly honored to receive the Excellence in Financial Education Award from the CCUA,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “Our mission is to help members make smart financial choices, and we achieve this by using the power of education.”
Each year, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union provides hundreds of classes and workshops to people of all ages. During the 2017-2018 school year alone, Jeanne D’Arc’s Financial Education Team reached over 21,000 children, teens and adults. The team teaches dozens of financial topics, including basic banking, budgeting, credit, home buying, fraud protection and more.
