Credit Union ONE Hosts Shred Day in Macomb

Ferndale, Michigan – The Members of Credit Union ONE turned out for a free shred day held at the Macomb Township Branch on Saturday October 13th. Over four tons of paper was collected and shredded on site during the three hours, and the members generously donated $400.00 dollars to Beaumont Children’s in Royal Oak.
Credit Union ONE hosts three to four shred day events a year which continue to be a very popular event. Credit Union ONE Member Cheryl Johnson brought material to shred and was pleased with the event. “ Thank you to the staff for volunteering their time on shred day, and donating the proceeds to Beaumont Children’s, You’re the best”.
“ Our Members realize the importance of these events, and they continue to participate and also to help Beaumont Children’s which is great” said John Kozich, Vice President of Community Relations for Credit Union ONE. “ Our Members start asking about the next shred day locations and times soon after an event ends”.
