October 16, 2018
St. Louis, MO October 12, 2018 St. Louis, MO: Not only is First Community Credit Union committed to fulfilling its mission to provide quality products and affordable financial services to our members, but also to serving and engaging with each surrounding community.
Each month, First Community employees have the opportunity to donate to a different organization in the St. Louis/Metro community. In exchange, they are allotted a day to wear jeans to work.
For the month of September, the Animal Protective Agency of Missouri (APA), was selected. Their needs vary day to day, from medical care assistance to blankets for puppy beds. The organization’s Executive Director, Sarah Javier, was excited to welcome some of the First Community staff in to their facility for a tour and show them exactly how a donation helps their organization.
The APA has a handful of events coming up that helps them raise funds and awareness for the organization. Check out their website to learn how you can help. www.apamo.org.
