Credit Union Accepting Scholarship Applications

pastedGraphicBasking Ridge, N.J. - �The Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity corporation, is accepting applications for the Richard A. Romano Rutgers Scholarship. This award is offered to Rutgers University undergraduate students� who are members of Affinity.� The scholarship was established in honor of Richard A. Romano for his outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication throughout his many years of volunteer service on the Affinity Federal Credit Union Board of Directors along with his service as executive-in-residence and member of the Rutgers University Business School Advisory Board.
"Affinity is proud to promote the pursuit of higher education for its members through our scholarships. Financial assistance plays a critical role in a familys decision when it comes to choosing the right school," said John T. Fenton, Affinity president & CEO.� "Were also glad to offer assistance to a deserving Rutgers student member while honoring Dick."

Scholarships are one-time-only awards and payable for the 2013-2014 academic year.
