Fresno, CA – September 28, 2018 – Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU), based in Fresno, CA, recognized outstanding Merced County educators.
Beth Dooley, EECU president and CEO, and Steven M. Tietjen, county superintendent of schools, presented awards to the winners selected as the teacher, administrator and employee of the year. Dooley lauded the winners and all of the nominees for serving as role models to their students.
“We believe in the importance of recognizing the achievements of outstanding educators,” she said, “and this special evening is a fitting tribute to their commitment to student success.”
The Merced County program is one of five annual county events sponsored by EECU that honors outstanding educators and school staff. EECU has 19 branches and serves more than 284,000 members in 10 Central California counties.
