Premier Financial Credit Union Helps Elderly Member Escape Payday Lenders

Premier Financial Credit Union – New Holstein, WI; Chilton, WI; – An 81 year-old, illiterate member previously used payday lenders and didn’t know how much he owed, to whom and at what interest rate. Every week for a decade, Premier Financial CU helped him understand his mail and each month helped pay down his loans, collections and medical bills. They don’t charge him for cashier’s checks or postage. Today all his loans are paid off, and small loans from us tide him over between social security checks. He was able to buy a 1991 Buick that he proudly shows off.
