Pottstown, Pa. – Diamond Credit Union has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for 2018. Diamond was also honored in 2016 and 2017. Diamond will be recognized at the Best Places to Work in PA awards banquet on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Rankings will be revealed at the ceremony.
The awards program, created in 2000, is one of the first statewide programs of its kind in the country. The program is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal.

“All Diamond employees should be proud of the work-place culture they have helped create and nurture,” said John Faust, President and CEO of Diamond Credit Union. “Their unwavering commitment to excellence makes Diamond a place we all look forward to coming to every day.”

This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania, who are benefiting the state's economy and its workforce. Employers are categorized based upon the total number of employees they have in the United States from 15 to 99, 100 to 250, or more than 250.
To be considered for participation, companies had to be: a for-profit or not-for-profit business; publicly or privately held; have a facility in Pennsylvania; have at least 15 employees working in Pennsylvania; in business a minimum of one year.

Companies entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA. The first part, worth approximately 25%, evaluated each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. Part two, worth approximately 75%, was an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the winners. Best Companies Group managed the registration and survey process.
