Credit Union Helps Youth Learn About Money
May 16, 2013
Highmark Federal Credit Union of Rapid City, SD hosted tours of their facility to students of Rapid City Central High School during National Credit Union Youth Week, April 22-26. The purpose of the tours was to investigate or uncover things or services that help people save money. In an effort to help the students play the role in being a "money sleuth", each student was given a mustache to wear and a magnifying glass to search for clues. Following the tour, the students discussed ways or things they observed that helped people save money. Highmark FCU is committed to helping students get started on a monetary path by promoting responsible financial practices.
