A heavily traveled and highly visible area within the city of Midland (Mich.) recently received some sprucing up by volunteers from Midland-based Dow Chemical Employees’ Credit Union. On September 12, five DCECU employees cleaned litter from nearly a mile of the boulevard area near the credit union – between East Lyon and East Patrick roads, from Pine Street to Washington Street, including around the bicycle and pedestrian path that runs through the boulevard – through the Adopt-A-Street program. DCECU staff members who participated were (left to right) Information Technology Director Mike Zureich, Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO Susan Phillips, Loan Servicing Supervisor Renee Saults, Account Services Representative Ann Green, and Member Services Supervisor Gwen Kleinschmidt.
