Indiana Members Foundation Provided 5,000 Backpacks for Underserved Kids

Indiana Members Credit Union is proud of its diversified member base and deposit and loan portfolios. We are also very proud of our “People Helping People” approach to conducting business and the way we have supported our communities since 1956.
(Indianapolis, IN, September 14, 2018) Indiana Members Foundation, the charitable arm of Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), provided 5,000 backpacks to local community organizations to help provide assistance to underserved children in Central Indiana for the 2018 school year. Since 2006, Indiana Members Foundation has donated over 50,000 backpacks and 857,602 school supplies to students in need in the communities served by Indiana Members Credit Union.

- Fletcher Place PreK Graduates
- Franklin Township Schools
- Hamilton County Backpack Attack
- The Salvation Army Marion Corps Community Center
- Hendricks County Backpack Attack
- Johnson County Fast Track
- Chin Community of Indiana
- The Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce
- Open Doors of Washington Township
- Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School
- Carmel Middle School
- Rhoades Elementary School
- Indy BackPack Attack
Mandy Emery, vice president of community involvement for IMCU and executive director of Indiana Members Foundation stated, “We would like to thank our employees, members and partners for making these donations possible!
