Credit Union Demonstrates Careers for High School Students

West Jordan,UT- More than 40 High School Students took a break from their normal Tuesday class schedule for some real world work experience. Students spent a day at Cyprus Credit Union learning the ins and outs of the credit union industry.� Students from Herriman High School and Copper Hills High School engaged in presentations by more than 25 Cyprus employees. Each presenter provided information about their education, experience and an overview of day to day responsibilities in their career.
Steve Fifield, Vice President of Branches for the credit union, coordinated the job shadow experience with teachers at both high schools. "What a great
experience for our staff to engage with young people in our community and for these students to learn more about careers in the financial industry."� Topics included finance, human resources, business and consumer lending, marketing and branch operations.
