Dow Chemical Employees CU Recognized for Going Above and Beyond

MIDLAND, MICHIGAN, September 4, 2018 – The Midland Daily News just announced that DCECU has been voted the No. 1 Credit Union in the newspaper’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards. This is the fourth consecutive year that DCECU has received the award.
“Four years in a row of taking first place in the Readers’ Choice Awards truly is an honor,” said DCECU President/CEO Dennis Hanson. “We appreciate all the votes of confidence and are grateful to serve our community on multiple levels – not just strictly by conducting typical credit union business.”
For example, DCECU recently has supported Garber Chevrolet’s “Stuff the Bus” event, which collects school supplies for early childhood programs throughout the county; collected food and personal care items to support local pantries; and donated 125 new pairs of gloves and mittens for distribution to Beaverton (Mich.) Elementary School students. Employees also routinely participate in community cleanup and home-building projects.
