On Wednesday August 1, 2018 from 10:00am- 11:00am, NuMark Credit Union will host a financial seminar for children ages 5-11 at the Tinley Park Branch, which is located at 8001 West 159th Street. Children will learn about the importance of spending, saving and sharing money.

The purpose of the Moonjar Moneybox seminar is to teach children about the importance of managing their money. Children begin with reading a story about characters who learn about money management through using rocks. Following the story, the children make a Moonjar of their own so that they can keep track of their money to save, share and spend. The seminar explores what children would like to do with their money and gives them informed information about their future financial choices.

The seminar is free and open to children ages 5-11. Parents can feel free to stick around and witness the fun. Space is limited! To register your child, visit www.numarkcu.org or call 815-729-3211. To learn more about the seminar, please visit www.numarkcu.org or view our informational video on YouTube.
