ANCHORAGE, AK – The Alaska USA Foundation launched the fourth annual Members Making Change donation drive, both online and in Alaska USA Federal Credit Union branches.

The drive raised more than $101,000 from the generous donations of Alaska USA members and employees. This was the first year Alaska USA employees joined in the fundraising efforts through a voluntary payroll deduction, donating $48,654 of the total raised. The Alaska USA Foundation will use the collected funds to assist nonprofit organizations that provide needs-based programs that benefit children, veterans, and active duty military and their families in the communities the credit union serves.

“This year Alaska USA members and employees established a new record for the Members Making Change campaign,” said Dan McCue, Executive Director, Alaska USA Foundation. “Their commitment to helping those in need continues to astound the Alaska USA Foundation.”
