Diamond CU Recognized for Charitable Impact on Community

Pottstown, Pa. - Diamond Credit Union has been named a Beyond Business contest winner by Lands' End Business for its involvement in the community.

Lands’ End held the contest to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their uniform and work wear division, Lands’ End Business Outfitters. Diamond purchases staff apparel through the Dodgeville, Wis. company.
Lands’ End Business customers submitted how they go Beyond Business to give back to the causes and communities they serve. Diamond submitted an entry that detailed its involvement with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. In addition to the percentage of employees who volunteer, impact was also a noteworthy benchmark in the contest. Diamond's impact on Relay for Life was weighed. Similarly, the impact volunteering has had on Diamond employees was also considered. This recognition included a $500 credit for apparel.

Since getting involved with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Diamond has raised nearly $850,000 through events like Winner’s Choice Designer Purse and Jewelry BINGO which will be held on July 13, 2018.
