Freedom Credit Union Awards $6,000 in Scholarships

Warminster, PA – (June 26, 2018) Freedom Credit Union presented three area students with educational scholarships. Each winner received $2,000 to be used for educational expenses.  Applicants were asked to write an essay based on a founding principal of Freedom Credit Union - “People Helping People”.  Freedom received many outstanding applications this year and is pleased to recognize the 2018 recipients:  

  • Alexa Nyx Baldon from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who will attend university of Scranton and major in computer engineering.

  • Ashley Renee Eatmon from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who is attending Eastern University and is also majoring in nursing.

  • Omar Jamaladdin from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who is continuing his education at Temple University, with a major in Biology / Pre-Pharmacy.
