Hanscom FCU Sponsors Airman Leadership School Graduation

Hanscom AFB, MA (June 26, 2018) – Senior Airmen from a number of area military bases graduated from Hanscom Air Force Base’s five-week long Airman Leadership School (ALS) on June 22nd. Hanscom Federal Credit Union sponsored the graduation ceremony as it has done in the past.
The ALS is the first professional military education that enlisted Air Force personnel encounter in their careers. The school prepares them for supervisory roles by strengthening their ability to lead, follow, and manage while helping them gain a broader understanding of their profession.
“These graduates are deserving of our respect for their hard work and dedication to their studies,” said Paul Marotta, Chairman of the Board of Hanscom Federal Credit Union. “These Airmen are ready to lead, and we at Hanscom Federal Credit Union are proud of their achievements.”
The ALS at Hanscom AFB included students from the USCG, Sector Northern New England; the 914th Force Support SQ, Niagara Falls, NY; the 157th Maintenance SQ, Pease ANGB, NH; the 103rd Force Support SQ, Bradley ANGB, CT; the 64th Air Refueling SQ, Pease ANGB, NH; the 514 Civil Engineering SQ, Joint Base McGuire, NJ; the 143rd Medical Group, Quonset, RI; the 512th Maintenance SQ, Dover AFB, DE; the USCG, Sector Boston; the 436th Maintenance SQ, Westover AFB, MA; and the 66th Medical SQ at Hanscom AFB, MA.
