Each year, Prairie Federal Credit Union in Minot, ND awards a $1,000 Scholarship to a graduating high school senior that lives within their field of membership. To be eligible, the student must bring their report card to the credit union. For each A the student earns, their name is placed into the drawing for the scholarship, so the more A’s earned the better the odds of winning. This year’s winner is Harleigh Reimche. She will be attending Bismarck State College.

Over the past ten years, Prairie Federal CU has awarded these “Scholarships for A’s,” giving out a total of $10,000 in financial support to high achieving students.

Congratulations to Harleigh Reimche!

Prairie Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1937 and serves an area that covers six counties: Ward, Bottineau, McHenry, McLean, Mountrail, and Renville. The credit union has one location at 1430 South Broadway in Minot, ND. Prairie FCU serves more than 7,500 members and holds nearly $124M in assets.
