North Star Community CU Awards $6,000 in Scholarships

Maddock, ND – North Star Community Credit Union has announced that they just awarded $6,000 in scholarships to student members. Each scholarship ranged from $500-$1000 and was awarded to a high school senior in the communities served by North Star. To be eligible applicants had to be a graduating senior enrolling as a full-time student at a college of their choice and be members or have parents who are members of North Star. The North Star Community Credit Union scholarships were established in 1980 and have been awarded to students annually ever since.
North Star Community Credit Union serves the North Dakota communities of Maddock, Bottineau, Butte, Cavalier, Grafton, Minot, Rugby, Velva, and Willow City. Chartered in 1940, the credit union currently has more than 22,000 members and nearly $300M in assets.
