Hometown CU Awards $2,000 in Scholarships

Kulm, ND - Hometown Credit Union recently awarded four $500.00 scholarships to area high school graduates. The recipients were: Addie Schnabel, Ashley, ND; Heather Ukaonu, Kulm, ND; MaKenna Reich, Hazelton, ND; and Monica Bertsch, Lincoln, ND, shown in the photo below.
Scholarship applicants were selected based on their involvement in school and community projects, along with work experience. Points were awarded based on their involvement. Applicants were also required to complete a 150 word essay explaining why they chose their field of study. Congratulations to these fine students!
