M-O FCU Awards $1,000 in Scholarships

M-O FCU recently awarded two $500 scholarships to young members who are pursuing their further education. In addition, thanks to a very gracious, anonymous donor, two additional $500 scholarships were awarded. Congratulations to the following M-O FCU members who were each awarded an educational scholarship.

  • Lauren Kristine Kattner is the daughter of Linc and Kristi Kattner, and a 2016 graduate of Huron High School. She is attending South Dakota State University, in Brookings, SD, working toward her Vocal/Instrumental Music Education degree. 

  • Cole William Martens is the son of Bill & Gayla Martens and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 2016. He is working toward his Human Performance and Fitness / Psychology degree at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. 

  • Taylor Yvonne Sprecher is the daughter of Lyle & Rhonda Sprecher and a 2018 graduate of Wolsey-Wessington High School. She will be attending Dakota State University in Madison, SD this Fall, and is undecided on her area of study at this time. 

  • Tyler Alan Sterrett is the son of Shanna & Cory Sterrett, and a 2017 graduate of Huron High School. He is currently attending Southeast Technical Institute, in Sioux Falls, SD, with plans to major in Civil Engineering Technology and Land Surveying.
