Credit Union ONE Awards $5,000 in Continuing Education Scholarships

Ferndale, Michigan – Two new Scholarship Recipients were chosen for the second year of the Credit Unions Continuing Education Scholarship Program. $2,500 was awarded to Joshua Rose of Traverse City, and Chanel Payne of Inkster.
The Scholarship Programs were expanded to help those that are going back to school to continue their education. Some of the qualifications include:
Being a member of Credit Union ONE of Michigan, Be a high school or GED graduate with a gap in education of two years or more, plan to enroll in the fall of 2018 in undergraduate classes at an accredited two or four-year college or university, or accredited trade or vocational school. “ We strongly support continuing education, and for these two 2018 recipients we are very happy to help in that goal” said Paul Stuart, Credit Union ONE Chairman of the Board.
