Community Financial CU Volunteers Support Convoy of Hope Community Event

Springfield, Mo. – CFCU staff and volunteers stepped up to helped Convoy of Hope serve our community at their Springfield, Missouri event on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Convoy of Hope, along with hundreds of community volunteers, provided about 5,000 honored guests with health and dental screenings, haircuts, shoes, family photos, groceries, and more at the event. CFCU volunteers assisted with packing 10,192 bags of groceries to be distributed as well as serving in the women's tent, helping to educate women on health issues and prevention.

"It was a special privilege for our Community Financial team to serve our neighbors and community by helping at this event," said Vicki Owens, VP of Community & Team Engagement.
