Metro West Chapter of Credit Unions Awarding $16,600 in Community Grants

Livonia, MI (May 30, 2018)Michigan’s Metro West Chapter of Credit Unions is seeking Non-Profit Organizations benefiting Wayne or Washtenaw Counties in need of financial grants of up to $2,500 to support local community improvement activities.  The money must be used to benefit the communities of Wayne or Washtenaw counties, and this year the Chapter will award a total of at least $16,600.

Non-profit organizations that did not receive a grant in 2017 are eligible to apply and must complete an online application at http://metrowest.mcul.org/2018-charity-grant-application by June 29, 2018. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to: charities@michiganlegacycu.org.

Grant recipients will be notified by August 10, 2018, top recipients will be invited to the Metro West Chapter Charity Golf Outing on August 16, 2018 to be recognized. 

The mission of the Metro West Chapter of Credit Unions is to support the educational needs, community improvement and political advocacy for credit unions in the Metro West Chapter.
