More than 150 people attended a Free Financial Fitness Fair for youth, credit union members and the community held by
BrightStar Credit Union and the City of Pembroke Pines during Credit Union Youth Week Financial Literacy Month on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 5:30-8:30pm at Walter C. Young Middle School, 901 NW 129th Avenue in Pembroke Pines. There were some timely seminars for adults such as Secrets that Auto Dealers Dont Want You to Know, Mortgage and Foreclosure Options in 2013 and Small Business Solutions.
Cosmo, BrightStars mascot entertained the children along with Young at Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale, Magic 102.7 FM Radio and Ben & Jerrys Scoop truck joined in on the festivities providing free Greek frozen yogurt.
