Horizon employees (L to R) Chandler Emett (Missoula), Clint Zitterkopf (Spokane), and Andrea Christensen (Missoula) join the sandbag brigade in Missoula on Thursday.

Missoula, MT - Last week, Horizon CU stepped in to help Missoula residents who are affected by flooding. The credit union donated to the Missoula Family YMCA and started to collect public flood relief donations at its branches in Missoula, and those who donate $20 or more receive a special edition tumbler from Horizon. So far, they've raised $900. In addition, a team of Horizon employees from Spokane traveled to Missoula last Thursday to join up with their Missoula counterparts to join the on-the-ground volunteer efforts. And, Horizon didn't stop there ... the credit union is also making a special flood relief loan, which includes a 90-day no-payment window, available to those whose home or property has been damaged.
