LOWELL, MA – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union was recently recognized at The Warren Group’s Banking Choice Awards for being one of the top three credit unions in Overall Quality, Community Contribution and Customer Service. The Banking Choice Awards recognizes both credit unions and banks that regularly exceed expectations when it comes to serving their customers and the community.

The Warren Group surveyed more than 30,000 individuals, 20,000 of which were from Massachusetts, to determine their satisfaction and perception of the financial institutions they bank at and of those for which they are simply aware. The responses were divided into four main categories: Customer Service, Technology, Overall Quality and Contribution to the Community.

The Warren Group honored the Massachusetts Credit Unions that placed in the top three for each category at a ceremony on May 7th in Worcester, Massachusetts. Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union was honored to receive first place in Overall Quality, first place in Community Contribution and second place in Customer Service for financial institutions in the Greater Boston Area. According to The Warren Group, rankings for Overall Quality, Customer Service and Technology were based on an individual’s perceptions of the financial institution they actively bank at. Rankings for the Community Contribution category were based on people’s impressions of the banks and credit unions they are aware of, but do not currently use. Therefore, the rankings for the Community Contribution category were heavily determined by financial institutions’ reputations.

“We are so honored and proud to be recognized in three out of the four categories of the Banking Choice Awards,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “Providing legendary service to our members is one of our core values, and we strive to do this while helping them make smart financial choices and playing an active role in our community. It is great to be recognized, and I applaud our dedicated staff for the wonderful work they do each day.”
