WCCU Raises $434 for Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas

From April 10, 2018 to May 10, 2018, Western Cooperative Credit Union (WCCU) participated in the “CU Hero” fundraiser as part of the Dakota Credit Unions Care Campaign for the Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas. All nine branches of WCCU encouraged their members to be a CU Hero by paying a suggested amount of $1.00 to sign one of the “little green hero” icons.
The money raised has during this campaign will support credit union awareness through donations to children’s charities, community needs, and financial education, and scholarships. Through their efforts, Western Cooperative Credit Union raised $434.00 for the CU Hero program! “WCCU is proud to support the Dakota Credit Unions Care Campaign and support our communities through charities and financial literacy,” stated Sarah Johnson, Marketing Director.
