Credit Union Donates $2,000 to Binghamton Zoo

zoo donationBINGHAMTON, NY - Members of Horizons Federal Credit Union donated $2,000 to the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park to fund a new butterfly exhibit. The donation was presented by Horizons FCU President & CEO Mario DiFulvio to Zoo Executive Director Steve Contento on Monday, April 15th. The funds were raised through various efforts at the credit union, thanks to the generosity of Horizons members. Horizons Federal Credit Union is the Binghamton areas oldest credit union, providing financial services to members who live, work, or attend school in Broome County. Voted the areas friendliest credit union, Horizons FCU serves members at its Binghamton, Endicott and Vestal locations, as well as providing surcharge-free ATM access at all Manleys Mighty Mart locations. The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is a living museum dedicated to conservation, education, recreation and the exhibiting of animals in a quality manner. The zoo begins its 138th season of operation Saturday, April 20th, 2013.
