East River FCU Awards $3,000 in Scholarships

Madison, SD - The East River Federal Credit Union scholarship committee has awarded two $1,000 scholarships to Olivia Rud and Alexandra Gross. Both recipients are Madison High School seniors. Additionally, the committee has awarded two $500 scholarships to Lacee Fedeler of Mount Marty College and Christina Parsley of Augustana University.
East River FCU’s President, Mechelle Johnson states, “Our credit union mission is ‘Building Success Stories’ with our members. And what better way to support that mission than with our scholarship program. Congratulations to this year’s recipients! We wish them much success as they further their education.”
East River Federal Credit Union offers four scholarships each year to its members. High school graduating seniors or currently enrolled full-time college students are eligible to apply. Recipients are determined based on contributions they have made to their community as well as their commitment to education.
