Scholarships Awarded by GEM Federal Credit Union
April 30, 2018
Minot, ND - This is the third year that GEM Federal Credit Union has awarded two high school seniors a $250 scholarship. The criteria for the scholarship are to be an active member of GEM FCU and to answer some fun trivia questions about GEM and credit unions in general.
This year, GEM had more applicants than the years prior, so in order to choose who received the scholarships they drew names from the pool of applicants. The scholarship recipients this year are Tate Wyman from Newburg United Public School and Jordyn Clapper from Surrey High School. Tate plans on attending Grand Canyon University to study Sports Management. Jordyn will be attending Minot State University to study Elementary Education with a double minor in coaching and music.
GEM FCU wishes all 2018 High School Seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors!
