LOWELL, MA – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is excited to launch its new Hometown Hero campaign, which gives community members the opportunity to nominate someone they know who goes above and beyond in their community. The Credit Union will choose four winners from all nominations to be named Hometown Heroes, and each will receive a $250 cash prize.

The Hometown Hero campaign kicked off on April 25, 2018 as part of the Credit Union’s Small Act That Gives Back initiative. It will run through May 25th. All community members can visit any branch or the Credit Union’s website LoveJDCU.com to fill out the nomination form. The nominator is required to provide the reasons why his or her nomination deserves to be a “Hometown Hero”.

The Hometown Heroes will be chosen on the following dates: Friday, May 4, 2018; Friday, May 11, 2018; Friday, May 18, 2018; and Friday, May 25, 2018.

“Our Hometown Hero campaign gives community members the chance to recognize an individual who has made a big impact in their lives or on the community at large,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “We know there are so many people in our community that deserve to be rewarded for spreading kindness, love and acceptance throughout our community.”
