bahamsLOWELL, MA Jeanne DArc Credit Union was recently visited by a delegation of eight Credit Union professionals from the Bahamas. Part of the World Council of Credit Unions global trade association, the group was representing six credit unions from different regions of the islands. The officials selected Jeanne DArc Credit Union as one of only two credit unions they visited in order to learn more about the ways in which we provide financial education to our members, and to community members, throughout the region. "We were pleased to host the delegates from the Bahamas, and to share our dedication to financial education and commitment to the community with them," said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne DArc Credit Union. "They expressed tremendous interest in our financial education programs as well as our devotion to social responsibility. We were honored to have them visit with us." A presentation of Jeanne DArcs financial education program was given to the delegates by Vice President-Financial Education Anne-Marie Bisson and Senior Vice President-Chief Marketing Officer Michelle Silveira. Members of the group asked myriad questions, seeking information that will help them better serve the members of their own credit unions in the Bahamas.
