Credit Union ONE Participates in Dodgeball Tourney and Raises $1,000 for Charity

Ferndale, Michigan – The 13th  Annual Capitol Area Credit Unions Charity Dodgeball Tournament attracted 18 Teams, benefitting Child and Family Charities in Lansing.

Credit Union ONE had a well tuned team participating this year, helping raise $1,000.00 after expenses. “We were very pleased with the employee turnout for our team, and the fourth place finish was well earned” said Stephen Dedene, Vice President of Compliance and Risk, “ We held Team practices and everyone worked real hard, knowing that the funds raised were going to such a worthy cause”.

Over 20 employees and friends allowed the Credit Union to have a strong and competive team. Helping out was Master Media Supply in Howel, as they donated the Dodgeballs and Trophies. This event continues to grow and has resulted in some friendly rivalries and tough competition. “ Bragging rights are always special when these types of events take place” said John Kozich, Vice President of Community Relations.
