Great Lakes CU Supports Financial Literacy for Kids with Youth Savings Month

Bannockburn (IL) – Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) is celebrating Youth Savings Month (YSM), a program that teaches and encourages kids to develop good financial habits. To coincide with the credit union’s 80th Anniversary, the first 80 Youth Accounts opened during the month of April will be entered to win one of the following: $100 Visa gift card, three $50 Visa gift cards, and twenty-five $10 Amazon gift cards.

The Science of Saving theme, uses fun, sci-fi-inspired characters to encourage children to save money. GLCU promotes YSM as a tool to educate financial responsibility. Together, parents and GLCU can help the next generation blast-off toward a bright and wondrous future!
