Northland Area FCU Manager Honored for Work with Veterans

Gaylord, Michigan, March 21, 2018 – Judy McKinley, Gaylord Branch Manager at Northland Area Federal Credit Union, was recognized by the State of Michigan last month for her dedicated and honorable service to the Otsego County area veteran’s community. Judy’s hard work as co-founder of The Message of Thanks Committee helped to bring many community organizations together and served hundreds of veterans from the Otsego area.
The Message of Thanks, Luncheon project is an expression of gratitude to our military veterans for their service and sacrifice to our country. The event offers fellowship and recognition of those who have served our country and a time to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the Armed Forces.
Northland originated 60 years ago on an Air Force base in Oscoda, Michigan. Deanna Reeves, VP Member Service at Northland said, “We remember our roots; we are delighted to see Judy recognized for her tireless effort to make the Message of Thanks project a success. We applaud her for her commitment to the military veterans in our community.”
